About This Community
Latrobe Council has an approximate area of 630 km².
It is comprised of the suburbs of Bakers Beach, Harford, Hawley Beach, Latrobe, Moriarty, Northdown, Port Sorell, Shearwater, Squeaking Point, Tarleton, Thirlstane and Wesley Vale plus parts of Beaconsfield, East Devonport, Holwell, Merseylea, Spreyton and York Town.
It is comprised of the locality of Sassafras plus parts of Frankford.
It is surrounded by the councils of Devonport City, Kentish, Meander Valley and West Tamar.
It is comprised of parts of the state electorates of Braddon and Lyons.
It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Braddon and Lyons.
